We are currently looking for motivated and goal oriented installation technician team lead for the Mid-Atlantic area (VA, MD, DC, PA, NJ, DE).This is a full-time position including benefits and paid training. All of our delivery techs start off as apprentices and then are moved to Delivery/Install Level I and then have the ability to be a team lead. The salary range from Apprentice to Team Lead is $13.00 – $18.00 per hour.

Job Description

Technical Requirements

  • Load and Unload all fitness equipment needed to complete an installation
  • Assembling and diagnosing fitness equipment
  • Operating diesel powered straight trucks to transport, deliver, and install the equipment to its final location
  • Must have 1+ year delivery & mechanical or assembly experience to be considered for this position.
  • Must have experience managing a team or individuals.

Additional Requirements Delivery / Installation Technician (Fitness Equipment):

  • Ability to work independently with optimal time management
  • Ability to read parts diagrams and diagnose technical equipment problems
  • Ability to take initiative, ownership and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers, corporate staff, and manufacturers
  • Ability to remain professional in terms of dress and interaction at all times while an agent of Heartline Fitness
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout VA, MD, DC, PA, NJ, DE, NC. Including occasional overnight and weekend work
Minimum Qualifications Delivery / Installation Technician (Fitness Equipment):
  • Prior moving and assembling experience
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Gains a deep understanding of each customers business needs and key performance indicators
  • Capable of lifting 50+ lbs. (Bending, lifting, squatting necessary to deliver, set-up and repair fitness equipment in all types of gym-like environments)
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English.

We encourage all mechanically inclined individuals with experiences in the service and repair industry to apply. This position involves cleaning of the interior parts of various types of fitness equipment from cardio to strength equipment. This Service Technician Apprentice would be responsible for a territory in the MD/VA area and must live in the MD/VA area.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: Fitness Equipment Service Technician

  • Cleaning fitness equipment
  • Travel to customer jobsite
  • Inspect and clean fitness equipment
  • Look for additional opportunities for revenue from service/warranty work and PM contracts on additional machines
  • Look for additional opportunities for incremental revenue for new equipment and/or fitness accessories

Additional Responsibilities: Fitness Equipment Service Technician

  • Assist with Delivery and Install projects when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers to build and retain effective relationships
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all times
  • Keep lines of communication open and available from 8am to 5pm M-F (our work week)
  • Complete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by fleet operations manager
  • Comply with company uniform policy
Minimum Qualifications: Fitness Equipment Service Technician
  • Be able to lift/move fitness equipment & parts, some in excess of 50lb’s
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance. Driving records are checked and excessive traffic, moving and speeding violations will be grounds for termination. Company provides vehicle.
  • Proficiency and working knowledge of computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, wifi, email and cell phone technology.

We’re Hiring: Outside Commercial Sales Rep

Currently, Heartline Fitness Products is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic full-time Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Boston, MA. The outside sales representative’s core duties involve managing a specific geographic territory. This includes: building a sales plan that is based on specific sales and gross profit goals and is further broken down into existing accounts and new client development. At the end of the day, Heartline’s territory sales management is geared to specific daily sales activities and behavior which are comprised of weekly prospecting/client calls and meetings, resulting in sales quotes and monthly captured orders.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: Outside Commercial Sales Rep

  • Managing and growing a specific geographic sales territory.
  • Increasing market share with current clients by developing fitness center, site assessments and business plans.
  • New business development through telesales, lead follow-up, cold call and walk-in visits.
  • In-person interviews and presentations with fitness center managers and property managers to assess current needs and make recommendations.
  • Demonstrated phone and email activity leading to appointment setting success, and quick response follow-up capabilities to meet prospect and client needs.
  • Inputting new leads, opportunities, quotations, and updating sales cycle process in CRM system.
Job Requirements: Outside Commercial Sales
  • The Outside Sales Representative should have at least 3 years’ experience in managing and developing an outside sales territory, with extensive experience in cold call prospecting by phone and in person. The ideal candidate should have a fitness/athletics background with experience in selling products and service contracts in a B2B and property management environments. Demonstrated success in managing a sales territory and achieving sales and gross profit goals.
Additional Requirements: Outside Commercial Sales
  • At least 3 years of outside sales experience in B2B sales required, commercial fitness equipment sales experience preferred
  • Excellent in-person interviewer and presenter of customer solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in managing an existing geographic territory.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as experience in using CRM software.
  • At minimum: AA Degree, College Degree preferred.
