Heartline Establishes Sales and Service Operations in Atlanta, Georgia

Heartline continues its east coast build-out by establishing operations in Atlanta, Georgia.
Gaithersburg, MD, March 15, 2013 Heartline Fitness Systems continues its corporate expansion by setting up sales and service operations in Atlanta, Georgia.   “The southeast has been particularly hard hit by the U.S.’s recent recession-it seems like the south was one of the first regions to go into recession and the last to come out,” says Bob Burgess, Heartline’s CEO.  “However, current indicators point to a strong rebound, and we believe the southeast and the fitness market in particular are poised for recovery.”  “Given the company’s northeast sales and service success over the past three years and the country’s economic rebound, it was time to make a financial commitment to the southeast,” says Jeff Shipman, president of Heartline’s Technical Services Division.
“Fortunately, our strong partnerships with Star Trac and FreeMotion have allowed us to make these plans a reality,” states Mr. Burgess.   “Heartline officially commenced operations in Atlanta in January with four Hampton Inn fitness centers in Georgia and South Carolina.”   We believe Atlanta gives us the perfect southeast location to provide Heartline’s trademark fitness center solutions to such destination cities as Charlotte (NC), Columbia (SC), Jacksonville (FL), Greenville/Spartanburg (SC), Nashville (TN), New Orleans (LA), Savannah (GA), and Tallahassee (FL).
“It seems like Heartline is one of the few dealerships in the fitness industry that is able to provide clients a complete turnkey solution,” states Mr. Shipman.    “In addition to the company’s stable of product brands, Heartline’s organization handles all aspects of the order fulfillment process-from designing the facility, selecting the equipment brands and mix, delivering, installing, and testing the equipment, to post-installation preventive maintenance services.”    “All of these services are performed and managed by Heartline personnel, not subcontractors,” says Mr. Shipman.  “Consequently, we’re better able to insure project quality to our customers throughout the entire order process.”
