Gaithersburg, MD, October 9, 2014 – Heartline Fitness Systems is pleased to announce new additions to our Northeast U.S. sales team. Heartline has promoted its Washington, DC sales manager, Geoff Vogel, to oversee the company’s continued growth in the Northeast region. In one of his first moves, Geoff has hired industry veteran, Chris Donohue, to grow Heartline’s Central and Northern New Jersey territory. Geoff and Chris join Delaware and Eastern Pennsylvania Sales Representative Richie Bebber to continue the company’s strong tradition of sales and service excellence.
“Geoff has been a valuable member of our Mid-Atlantic team since his hiring in 2012,” says Heartline’s president, Bob Burgess. “Geoff has made a tremendous impact in the DC market for us, and we’re excited to bring his talents and professionalism north.” “In terms of field sales, we wanted a dedicated and professional individual with an ingrained knowledge of the region, and I believe we’ve found that in Chris” says Geoff Vogel. “Chris has nearly 17 years of industry experience through his time as a commercial gym and studio owner as well as product sales for several regional fitness companies.” “Geoff will still be responsible for the Washington, DC territory but we’re anticipating big things from Geoff and his team in the Northeast,” says Heartline’s president, Bob Burgess.
Following the strategic acquisition of Townsend Fitness earlier this year, Heartline is particularly interested in expanding its sales and service operations in Northern New Jersey and Eastern PA” says Jeff Shipman, Heartline Technical Service’s (HTS) president. “Townsend has provided us with a tremendous customer base in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, and we’re looking for Geoff and Chris to provide us the same market penetration in Northern Jersey” “We believe Heartline is one of the few dealerships in the fitness industry that is able to provide clients a complete turnkey solution,” states Mr. Shipman. “In addition to the company’s stable of product brands, Heartline’s organization handles all aspects of the order fulfillment process-from designing the facility, working with clients to determine optimal brands and mix, delivering, installing, and testing the products, to post-installation preventive maintenance and repair services.” “Most of these services are performed and managed by Heartline personnel,” says Mr. Shipman. “Consequently, we’re better positioned to insure project quality to our customers throughout the entire order fulfillment process.”
