With Heartline Fitness since 2022
My fitness background goes all the way back to the mid-’90s. As a newlywed, professional life took over. Then one day, I saw a picture of myself and noticed two things:
- I was larger than I remembered
- I looked into the eyes of this rather larger person, and they were lost.
This person shouldn’t have been lost. Life was good. But I just wasn’t myself.
Eighteen months later, I was 80 pounds lighter; this is when I found running. I’m now an 11-time Ironman finisher, one short of my ultimate dream: competing in the Kona, Hawaii Ironman.
The lessons I’ve learned during my Ironman journey have suited me well in my fitness career. You battle through the tough moments, and be grateful for everything you have. I look at the equipment a little different than most, after spending so much time using it myself.
Every day is a learning experience, as I continue to provide quick follow-up and prove my value to those I work with on a daily basis.← Back to Team Members
